Hit or Miss

Today I have come to the conclusion again that being shy and not much of a socialite leaves for a very very boring weekend. Today was semi-eventful but not as much as it could of been if I were out and about like 25yr olds are suppose to be like. No money means no social life and well the free dating sites and what not don't really seem to work for me. I wouldn't say I'm the hottest thing out there but I sure am at least something decent to look at. lol

Woke up this morning to my dog bounding across the bed and landing on my stomach. My mother and I drove down to visit my Grandmother. She was soo happy to see us and I still see the smile she gave me when I said I was happy to have gone up to visit her. It really is the little things in life that can make your day and make this life worth living. We only stayed for about an hour or so before we grabbed out things and headed back home. Extreamly uneventful day after that. It was come home and I watched a few shows on TV with my mom before her and dad had to run out for the night to their weekly dinner with some friends. At almost 50 my parents have 10x more of a social life than I have had in the last year.

Tonight has consisted of more SVU, an apple and some tatter tots for diner and a sad and depressed dog mopping around cause mom isn't home. Man do I just live the great life. Well time to hit one of my latest gaming addictions. Its an old and timeless game but I don't know It has quickly become my fav app on the iphone. Well have a great weekend and try to make each day count. Time for me to hit the pavement and get some running in before it gets to much later!

Game of the Night: Solitare! Oldie but a goodie <3 some of the free games the include on the computers.

Cookie for the spider slayers!

Today was a solitaire free day! Got up this morn and ate my breakfast did a quick workout before I was out the door. Picked up Prima and headed out to get her to her appointment. Her normal chiropractor was not there and might I say the rep she got today was a cutie, too bad I'm way to shy when it comes to guys or I might of actually tried to hit on him. After the appointment it was off to the movies! Went and picked up our tickets for Three Musketeers, which was AWESOME, and had an hour to kill before the movie started. We got ourselfs some foodage at Fresh Choice and than made our way into the movie.

The movie was awesome. Had a nice balance of action, storyline, and romance. It seems to be a hard mix for movies to get it all and still be good. Tis a perfect movie for guys and gals alike. PERFECT date movie. After the movie I dropped Prima back off at home and made my way back home. Just hitting the freeway and a nice big brown spider decided to make its presence known. I am greatly terrified of spiders and it just freaked me out. To top it off on the way home I got the great joy of smelling cow poop from an overturned truck on the freeway. Got home and immideatly got my brother and his Navy boy friend to try to get Mr. spider out of the car. They come back in a few min later and were unsuccessful. I was still greatfull for the attempt and offered both a cookie that I had baked yesterday. Any who the rest of the day was pretty uneventful and I am an gunna  head off and get started on my mini marathon of Law and Order: SVU.

Game of the night: Team Fortress 2....*BOINK*

The Device has been modified.....

Well lets get this started! A little bit about me to get the ball rolling. I was never REALLY into games until I graduated from High school. Growing up it was Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt on the original Nintendo. This was followed by the Sega for my family. With Sonic and the introduction of the Sega Channel my brother and I would play for a few hours a day. Our time at this age was greatly monitored by our mother to make sure we didn't waste the entire day inside on whatever the latest addiction on the Sega Channel was. My brother and I now getting older split in two different directions at this point. I went with the good old original Playstation while my brother went for the N64. This was the introduction of my very first Final Fantasy game with 7. My brother had Mario Sunshine for the N64 which got a good amount of playtime on it as well. It did later lead to a PS2 and an Xbox 360. The Xbox came along during a very addiction and long period of my life. A friend of mine had gotten me hooked on the wonderful world of MMO's and I spent about 5-6 years playing the wonderful Final Fantasy XI on the computer. This was my first MMO and was the gateway to me going fully into the gaming world for me. It has been about 3 months now since I have stopped playing FFXI but I still enjoy the gaming world. Since I have stayed with the computer and enjoyed games like Portal and Mass Effect. I'm looking forward to a couple of games coming out and have been recommended to try a few others that should be coming out soonish.

Now that my little gaming history has been covered this blog will not JUST bee about gaming and what I play. It will be an account or a diary so to say of the life of just one girl and the experiences she goes though on a daily basis. I will write my opinions and a review of a game as I try them but that will not be the main focus of this blog. This is my way of making each day memorable and allowing me to look back on my life years from now and see where it is I have gone and what I have done. I hope that all who find this blog and read it enjoy the journey with me because its bound to be a bumpy ride!
